Dear Families,

I hope you are all staying safe!

I have updated the grades in Renweb for the week.  If you see a zero, it means I am missing that assignment/test from your student.  If you see a low grade (for example in Social Studies), do not worry.  There may be only one graded assignment or test.  We will be doing more assignments which will boost up grades.

Please, do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions.

God Bless,
Ms. Barrington

I think I have successfully set up Zoom.  I scheduled a meeting for tomorrow at 1:00.  I'm going to include the link at the end of this post if you want to join in.

For those parents who can't log into google classroom, I am going to email you the lessons and due dates I have put into classroom this evening.

Stay safe and God Bless!  Here's the link to zoom

March 20

Dear Parents,

Wow!  What a crazy week!  I hope you are all staying safe.

I think I have a handle on Google Classroom, and how to assign assignments.  I do want to see if I can figure out a different way to turn in math though.  I will be looking into that this weekend.  I know a couple of parents are not able to log into Google Classroom.  If you aren't able to, please email me.

I put the grades for the first week into Edlio.  Please check your child's progress.  A few students haven't turned in several assignments, including today's spelling and reading tests.

I am going to set up a Zoom account, and have an online video chat with the students next week.

Thank you all for your patience this week.  Again, feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Ms. Barrington

March 13

Parents,

I will be posting lesson plans for the upcoming week by Sunday.  I'm in the process of learning how to use Google Classroom, so some of the assignments will be posted there. Your child should have received an email from me to join.  Once your child joins, I can also invite you to join.  Right now the only subject I have on Classroom is to watch a Youtube video for our next math assignment.

I have placed everything he/she will need on his/her desk.  Some of the books your child can access from his/her HMHCO account (they all have their usernames and passwords).  Social Studies goes more into depth online than what is in the magazines.  Mrs. Dorich has also left drawing paper for your child to complete an assignment.  Watch also for lessons for the other specials.  I will not be expecting your child to complete 7 hours of assignments each day.

Please do not hesitate to email me if you have any questions about assignments!  I will be checking my email throughout the days starting around 12:00.

Stay safe and God Bless!

Catholic Schools Week

Next week we will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week. I've attached a file on activities that our student council has come up with to help celebrate.  I will also be posting again with the Penny War Rules that Student Council will be running.

Thank you,
Ms. Barrington

Tomorrow will be a free dress day (students do not have to pay).

Remember that Wednesday we will be going on a field trip to the state capitol.  We will be leaving on the bus around 8:15, but will be eating lunch back at school.

Also, your child brought home a paper explaining about a book report.  The book report will be due Monday, November 25.  He/She will need a poster board for the report.

If you have any questions, please email me.

Thank you,
Ms. Barrington
