Opened in 2012, The Fisher House provides, free of charge, a place for families to stay as military loved ones receive necessary procedures and treatment at the VA Medical Center. The home has 20 suites available with private bedrooms/baths and is a much needed local resource as families travel long distances, often from rural communities, to receive care at the VA. The school will once again this year offer a service opportunity for students and parents to visit with and serve a meal to the families staying at the home. Funds raised will be used to purchase CostCo gift cards and go towards the provided meal. Gift cards help provide meals and snacks as well as toiletries to stock the house.
