You might hear about Mr. Sweeney's cat running across the screen as he read The Pope's Cat to students, or how inspired we felt to Draw God after visiting with Author Karen Kiefer. Students will never forget Kaela Rivera visiting us on campus when her 2nd book released, or the live presentation by Ronald James about making lifelong good choices. Author Julia Lyon showed up in costume for her presentation of A Dinosaur Named Ruth and made us all want to head to southern Utah to dig for bones. Richard Paul Evans shared his personal story and struggle with Tourette syndrome which main character Michael Vey shares.
These visits and experiences were arranged to awaken and embolden our students' creativity, love of reading and adventure, and to inspire them to so many possibilities, despite challenges they may face.
We think it's pretty amazing to have met and talked with 21 Authors in 3 years!
