And we're off! It was a wonderful first day to a great school year where God's Love has the strength to endure.

A big shout out to our HSA Board Members for hosting our annual Tears and Cheers Breakfast and kicking off a great school year! It was so nice to meet some new faces and catch up with those that we haven't seen all summer.

It only takes a spark and we are so grateful for the shout out and community call to action we received on FB today. In the world of fundraising, so many acts go unseen and even unheard. The path is often lonely. We pray that this light, the small match lit today will burn into a great torch that multiple others help carry. So many things in Bountiful have disappeared over the years: the rocket from Rocket Park, the Bubble, Norma's Dance Studio, Carmacks, the Cottage, even the beautiful original Bountiful Junior High. Saint Olaf Catholic School won't follow in those footsteps. Having completed our 60th year in Covid, we march into another 60 years. We believe it would be a spectacular gift, if the Bountiful community and citizens lent their support to our building expansion. Like many wonderful things that still remain, Saint Olaf is Bountiful. Please stop in, drop us a line, share your stories through Social Media, just keep them coming. We have been here educating, living along side, sharing so many moments while serving this community and we will continue. Don't forget about and join us for our summer camp program, our after school community orchestra program, our Halloween Carnival/Car Show, and Spring Gala. With so many open events, we are more than just a school and you are the community we are blessed to be part of.

Avoid summer slumps, come to “Worth it Wednesdays” (also known as Math Lab) hosted by Mr. Stokes who will help rising 5th - 8th grade students in their math work on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. This will run every Wednesday through July 20th (with no class July 13th). We encourage students to attend when they can. Students do not need to attend every session. Please bring pencils, computers/chrome book. Email any questions to [email protected]

Our students, parent volunteers, teachers and staff had a blast at Field Day yesterday. Dance music, bounce houses & slides, the mechanical bull, the downpour derby, huge bumper balls, a human hungry, hungry hippo game, popsicles and more made for a fun-filled afternoon!
Thank you to all that helped make this such a fantastic day.

This week our students got to experience the food, culture, arts, crafts and history of many Spanish speaking countries at our Spanish Fiesta! 6th, 7th and 8th grades presented Mexico and Peru. 5th grade presented Argentina. And 4th grade presented Spain. Fantastic job by Mrs. Anderson and all of our students.

The Healthy Habits BMX School Assembly was amazing! This awesome, world class performance was put on by StuntMasters who turn "positive thoughts into purposeful action."

Our hope for you, as Ms. Braukmann so beautifully stated, is that you "never lose your curiosity, never lose the need to ask questions, to ask why, to challenge your reasoning and to push yourself to learn more than you could've believed. It is this skill that will carry you, not only through, but beyond your horizon."
